What is a Text Ad Exchange?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:01 am

A text ad exchange has similarities to Traffic Exchanges & Safelists, in that you earn points by reading other peoples ads and can swap those points for your own advertising. You can earn points in a number of ways. Firstly there are the text ads, which are a single line of text (100 chars). If you find one interesting click on it, and the site that is being promoted will open. When you have viewed that site for more than 10 seconds you will be awarded points to go towards your own advertising. HTML ads work in the same way.

You can add banners to a text ad exchange and can earn points by clicking on any banners on the text ad exchange and viewing the promoted site for more than 10 seconds. Banners appear on the text ad exchange itself and whenever someone clicks on a credit link in a solo ad (see below), they appear at the top of the window.

Guaranteed Traffic Links are a great feature of text ad exchanges. They guarantee a number of unique visitors to your site. They are available in 50, 100 & 200 views. The traffic links are featured on the text ad exchange and can be clicked on to earn points. You can only earn points from each traffic link once and if someone clicks on your traffic link more than once, it will only count as one view. That way it guarantees you will get a set number of unique visitors to your site.

You can swap your points for a solo ad to all the members of the text ad exchange’s contact email addresses. We send a maximum of 5 solo ads a day at THE Text Ad Exchange (some text ad exchanges send a lot more!) and don’t send them all at the same time of day so that each ad gets the attention it deserves. Each solo ad has a credit link at the bottom which links to the site being promoted and earns you points. Solo ads earn you the most amount of points for a click so people like to click on solo ads.

When you login to a text ad exchange an ad is displayed for 10 seconds. You can swap your points for one of these login ads for a number of views (not all text ad exchange have this feature). When you have logged in to the text ad exchange you will see a navigation bar on the left of the window. You can add your own navigation button to the menu for a period of 7 days in exchange for points.

One other way of earning points is to refer other members to the site. You will earn points every time they log in and a percentage of the points that they earn. You will also earn commission on your referrals upgrades and ongoing advertising purchases. So referring others is a great way of getting free traffic & commissions.

If you don’t feel you have the time to be clicking on lots of ads to earn points you also have the option to buy points and advertising at text ad exchanges.

Some other features of the sites are, Downline Builder, Viral URL Cloaker, Weekly Draw for free advertising, Email Your Referrals, Plus More are added all the time.

There are two levels of membership at THE Text Ad Exchange, Free & Pro. Pro membership means you receive more points when you click on ads, free points each month, higher commission levels, more URL cloaker links, ability to save more ads, email your referrals more often and a pro bonus section. You can pay to upgrade to pro or can swap points for a free pro upgrade.

I hope that gives you a good overview of a text ad exchange. When you reduce it down to the basics it’s a case of you look at my site and I’ll look at yours. So you need to make sure your site catches peoples attention pretty quickly. Often a splash page of some sort is the best way of doing this. Also you need to realise that often people wont pay attention to a site until they have come across it a number of times and curiosity get the better of them! So you need to advertise constantly to get the best results. If you have a good landing page and advertise consistently you will get results from text ad exchanges. I know, I have, and that’s why I decided to set up THE Text Ad Exchange.

My name is Seb Brown and I run THE Text Ad Exchange which is a free advertising site.

Trading The Forex for Profit

Automated trading of currencies (the Forex Market) can be very profitable for the savey investor.  The Forex Market is traded around the world on various markets 24 hrs a day.  It is the single largest market on earth, trading some $3.2 trillion in value everyday.  The various currencies that are traded freely (allowed to float in value compared to the other countries) are in a constant state of flux.

Automated trading systems can be helpful to identify market opportuinties.  The simpler the system the easier it is to understand and to work with.  There are many worthless systems being promoted today.  Most of these systems only work in controled demonstrations.  Choose your automated system carefully.  An automated system should be at least 70% efficient to achieve positive results.

It is always wise to keep yurself informed of world currennt events, and the various domestic indicators in your target countries.  Things like GDP (gross domestic production), unemployment figures, orders for durable goods and so on.  These are the forces that drive the Forex Market.

The Forex Market like most markets can be a dangerous place for the untrained and unarmed investor.  While there is potential for huge profits in the Forex, losses are all too real.  Knowing how to protcect ones trading position is vital.  Often losses can be tracked back to excessive greed on the part of the trader.  Learn as much as you can about the Forex Market before you lay your money down.

A great deal of general information is available for free on the internet, however in depth training and access to many systems will cost you some money.  If you arn’t prepared to spend some money on your education and training you are looking in the wrong place to make your fortune.

Picking your individual assurance supplier for personal casualty insurance

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:40 am

Injury insurances are provided by several insurance companies on the German market. When searching ways to protect yourself from the financial peril, it is quite difficult to find your individual insurer and contract for your individual needs. Fortunately there exist specialized sites which enable one to find the right harm insurance at a cheap rate.

Why is it useful to contract personal injury insurance? That special insurance is interesting for everybody who wants to optimize their personal peril management. Here are some interesting points which should be thought of when searching your individual German accident assurance vendor:

Employees are regularly protected by the German national accident assurance during working hours. But nowadays anyone spends a lot of time outside their cubicle and should look for additional insurance cover. Entrepreneurs are usually not protected by the German governmental hurt insurance. Voluntary membership can be taken, but this is not obligatory.

It is not useful to visit all the German private compensation assurance providers by oneself when looking for your favored solution. You can obtain an online comparison and even effect your personal harm insurance on this web page: Unfallversicherung privat. They give a cost-free comparison of German harm insurance companies. Consequently, the client should start their individual casualty assurance research on the Internet. The client will retrieve an individual injury assurance offer from a huge number of assurance companies.

Entrepreneurs could negotiate a daily payment so that the missing income is compensated during the period of convalescence. The accident insurers normally pay in case of permanent disability. But it is also possible to include costs of recovery and hospital daily benefit in the agreement. The injury insurance normally also pays for injuries which are caused by physical strain without external cause (e.g. when carrying heavy objects). Such injuries are for instance rupture of a ligament or broken joints. It is helpful to have injury insurance safeguard because these injuries can lead to permanent dysfunction of a body part.

A personal hurt insurance is beneficial to guard oneself against the monetary exposure of accidental disability. Accidents can not only cause financial challenges for the affected individual but also for their near relatives. Especially the incapability to work and earn money should be taken into consideration. Accidental danger is present in everyday life when staying at home, doing exercises, going for a vacation trip or spending some other leisure time. Especially recreational time peril is not covered by the national compensation assurance in Germany. Consequently it is quite helpful to have additional private protection.

Who’s the coolest baby on the planet?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:34 am

Now, before you start thinking that I’m full of myself, let me explain what this is really all about.

In a blog post I made, I talked about the need for your site to actually be related to the links that point to it. One example I gave was the cutest baby on the planet search phrase, versus the miserable failure search phrase.

In the past, searching for “miserable failure” brought up a completely unrelated web page. Due to Google’s new algorithm that does away with the “Google bomb” or “link bomb” effect, that is no longer the case.

My post discussed why this doesn’t work anymore.

In one of the comments on that post, Alex Newell suggested that I setup a site and try to get it to rank for the phrase “the coolest baby on the planet”, using the site to test various linking strategies and methods, etc.

Thus my the cutest baby in the world site was born.

What I am attempting to prove is that by following the directions Google gives in its Webmaster Guidelines, you can rank a site for a keyword phrase using 100% “white hat” methods.

In the pages of the site you will see outlined the methods I am using, and the progress I am making in implementing each of the steps from Google’s guidelines.

As of right now, the site is ranked #1 in Google for “the cutest baby on the planet”, but I also want to be ranked #1 for “cutest baby in the world”, so I’m still working on it.

Looking at Used Boats for Sale

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 9:25 am

Taking on the responsibilities of acquiring and operating a new watercraft can be a costly endeavor. So it might be more advantageous to purchase a used sail or motor-driven vessel that fits more within the finances and is still able to perform the same function. And experienced boaters are often in the opinion that used boats offer better value for money than a new model sitting on the forecourt.

eBay boats for sale is just one place to search for a multitude of sail boats, motor boats, to fishing boats and personal watercraft (PWC) of every make and class imaginable. And at the same time search the enormous selection of accessories and gear, such as electronics, cabin & deck hardware, and engines to suit most boaters’ requirements.

If fishing, the bass boat is a high-performance fishing machine, that’s lightweight, offers a generous deck and storage area and able to accommodate 2 to 3 anglers in comfort. The bass fishing boats for sale offer a ready-to-fish angling package with models suited to tournament quality anglers to the weekend warrior that just wants a fishing boat loaded with fishability features.

Once the plans are put in motion to purchase a watercraft it’s necessary to locate a reputable boat or PWC insurance provider. It’s often best to insure with one of the specialized boat insurance companies as they know exactly what questions to ask and are able to ensure that the ideal coverage is put in place. It can also help to look into the responsibilities and legal obligations of owning a boat as this various from state to state.

Is weight loss is a misnomer and do bathroom scales lie?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:24 am

Everyone likes to talk about ‘weight loss’ but what type of ‘weight’ are people actually losing? In this article, readers discover the truth about the term collectively known as ‘weight loss’.

In 2003 I attended a seminar entitled ‘Fat Loss not Weight Loss’ as part of my Naturopathic training. Early in the day the lecturer made a comment that I have never forgotten. “You can lose weight just by going to the toilet!” Although Mr. Eddy ND was stating the obvious; it wasn’t until that moment that it dawned on me just how misleading the term ‘weight loss’ can be. Losing excess fat, fluid, waste or toxins, should be the goal of any healthy weight reduction program. However, for most people, the success of a weight loss program is measured simply by a decrease in kilograms on the scales.

So when ‘Anita’ weighs herself on the scales and she’s 2 kg lighter, she assumes that this is healthy and what she is doing is working. And of course this is understandable given that the generalized notion of weight loss, is all anybody ever talks about! But what if that 2 kg weight loss came at the expense of a reduction in muscle and bone mass? Muscle mass is heavier than fat mass so when it is lost it has a dramatic effect on the scales. The irony is that muscle mass drives metabolism and enables you to burn fat more effectively. So while losing muscle mass might look good on the scales, it actually weakens your overall physique and body structure, decreases your immunity and slows fat loss.

Therefore, as any of my clients can attest, it is essential that you know what type of ‘weight’ you are actually losing. There have been instances among my male clientele where their overall weight has increased but their physique has improved substantially. This is because their increased weight came from muscle mass which enabled them to burn more fat. It should also be remembered that muscle mass also adds tone to the body and improves its overall appearance. It also produces increased stamina, strength and energy.

Overall physique is a very important consideration when attempting to reduce body weight. Many people have large frames with a high degree of muscle and bone mass. This can weigh quite heavily on the scales but it is very important for the body to have a strong structural framework. The body’s bone mass peaks at 20 years of age but according to the National Osteoporosis Foundation, 5 to 7 years after menopause bone mass declines by a whopping 20%.

This is because women lose the protective effects of estrogen after menopause which predisposes them to developing Osteoporosis (porous bones) which fracture and break easily. Therefore, maintaining a healthy amount of bone mass is essential to offset this hormonal change.

My advice to anyone undertaking a weight reduction program is to make sure that they monitor and manage their progress with regular Body Composition Assessments (BCA) to ensure that muscle and bone mass is not being sacrificed in an effort to weigh less on the scales. Ideally BCA’s need to be done every three weeks as bone and muscle loss can occur with surprising speed.

On a final note I believe it’s unrealistic to compare one person’s weight loss success with another because there are so many variables. Among my clients there are examples of people who weigh lighter simply because they have a smaller frame. There are also examples of people who are heavier yet healthier than others, simply because they have more muscle and less fat mass overall.

Having conducted countless Body Composition Assessments, I can assure readers that there are definitely risks associated with weight loss if it is not monitored and managed correctly. Bathroom scales are next to useless because they do not give you the full picture. Be fully informed about the type of weight you are losing to avoid serious health issues down the track.

Should You Refinance Your Mortgage Now?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:48 am

Many homeowners are considering taking advantage of today’s historically low interest rates by refinancing their mortgage. In many cases, they are able to save hundreds of dollars per month by refinancing. Whether mortgage refinancing makes sense for you can be easily determined by doing some simple math.

The first consideration is how much lower your new interest rate should be than your current rate. There is a common belief that if current rates are more than 1.5 to 2 percentage points lower than your current rate, then you should refinance. That’s a good starting point, but there is more to the story than just the raw interest rate.

Your real concern should be the total cost of the mortgage refinance both in the short term and the long term. The total cost includes not only the monthly mortgage payment (principal plus interest), but the closing costs, as well. Closing costs typically include such things as:

  • Appraisal fee
  •

  • Credit Report fee
  •

  • Processing fee
  •

  • Commitment fee
  •

  • Tax Service fee
  •

  • Flood Certification fee
  •

  • Discount points (if any)
  •

  • Title Insurance (based on mortgage amount)
  •

  • Recording/Notary fee
  •

  • Per diem Interest
  •

  • Real Estate Taxes
  •

  • Home Insurance (percentage of mortgage amount)
  •

Adding all these up can easily run into several thousand dollars, even without discount points. This is money that must be paid at the loan closing. In the case of a mortgage refinancing, lenders often advertise “no closing costs”, which is a bit misleading. The truth is that there ARE closing costs, but they are paid out of the proceeds of the loan rather than the pocket of the homeowner. This is possible when the homeowner borrows against the equity in their home as part of the refinancing.

As an example, let’s say that your home is worth $175,000. Your original mortgage was for $125,000 over 30 years at 7% interest. You still owe $100,000 on the original mortgage. The closing costs for your refinance are $3,000. If you simply refinance the $100,000 amount at a lower interest rate you will reduce your monthly payments, but you will have to pay the $3,000 closing costs out of your own pocket. If you choose the “no closing costs” option, your $3,000 closing costs will be paid by simply borrowing the additional money against the equity in your home (i.e. the value of your home less the amount owed). Your mortgage will now be for $103,000 instead of $100,000.

So, what about that widely held 2 percentage points belief we mentioned earlier? The monthly payment for a 30-year $125,000 mortgage at 7% interest is $831.63. For your new 30-year $100,000 loan at 5% interest, the monthly payment is $536.82, a savings of almost $300 per month. If the new mortgage is $103,000, the monthly payment is $552.93, still saving you over $275 per month. In this scenario, considering only the monthly savings, you would recoup your closing costs in as little as 10 months.

Sounds great, right? Well, there’s another factor you need to consider. If your original mortgage was $125,000, you’ve been paying on it for 152 months to get the principal balance down to $100,000. Therefore, you have 208 months left before the mortgage is paid off under the original terms. If you continue without refinancing, you’ll pay an additional $172,978 (208 months at $831.63 per month).

If you refinance your mortgage for the $100,000 you currently owe, you’ll pay on it for 360 months at $536.82 plus the $3,000 closing costs for a total of $196,255.

$172,978 <– payout without refinancing

-196,255 <– payout after refinancing

-$23,277 <– difference

In this case, by refinancing you will end up paying an additional $23,277 for the new loan over the original mortgage. This works out to about $775 per year, which may be acceptable to you in order to have the lower monthly payment now. You are the only one who can make that decision based on your personal financial situation. The important thing when refinancing your mortgage is to consider all the ramifications.

This is another of today’s money secrets that can help you get the most for your money in today’s lending market!

Internet Gift Shopping Talent

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:24 pm

I really feel like I have discovered an unknown talent. All my life I have enjoyed research. It may come across as a sickness, really. My family knows to call me before making any major decisions.

Luckily, I have not run into any major issues when using the internet as my own personal shopping mall. With the holiday season coming on fast I have renewed my efforts to find unique, personalized gifts. I love to start early on my shopping so that I don’t have to settle for a gift that feels less than perfect.

Last year I found a couple web sites that had a wide variety of products they could personalize. I ended up getting a few ornaments with family names on them. I also found some really cute personalized frames. After having the names placed on the frame by the retailer, I added old pictures. It was hilarious to see people open their gift and discover a relic from the past. The photos evoked memories of Christmases’ past. Old stories were brought to light and our family thoroughly enjoyed listening to the adventures our relatives had had.

This ever evolving need to research and discover the best product at the best price really pays off when I am doing my holiday shopping. I highly recommend getting on the internet and seeing what types of personalized gifts you can send your loved ones.

Personalized can add a little extra flare to gifts for teachers, bosses, and co-workers, too!

“The Google Shadow” | Is This Tool Actually Legal?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:01 am

Would you willingly drop everything you know about Google Adwords PPC campaigns? That’s what the recently revealed (but secretive) “Google Shadow” is suggesting you do.

And you know what? The Google Shadow may be right.

Of course, there are always many ways of doing things and reaching business  success. Some people like to be focused on details and precise. Google certainly encourages this, with their complicated “Google Slaps,” “Landing Page Quality” penalties and nickel clicks that rocket to $5 clicks overnight for no apparent reason.

Frankly, I bet most people who dabble in PPC–and many who actually work pretty darn hard at it–never make much money at all. The risk-reward ratio is very high. Most of us don’t get over the hump, and give up to conserve cash and relieve frustration, retiring to the safer land of SEO and article marketing and other things that don’t tax the bank account …. but which never really hit that golden rainbow we keep hearing about.

PPC marketing is just complicated, tedious, time-consuming, fussy … and HUGELY profitable if you hit the right combination of traffic and keyword and offer. That’s why so many keep at it.

Sadly, unsuccessfully.

Most of us are out there trying our best to learn how to manage PPC campaigns without invoking Google’s wrath, doing everything so carefully …. and in swaggers the “Google Shadow”.

The Google Shadow” has a completely different view on things.

- He is lazy.

- He wants to make money fast.

- He doesn’t take “NO” for an answer.

He is a bit like that 1950’s hotrodder who cruised into town with the biggest, baddest car that could mow right through all the local boys without even trying.

He built the “Google Shadow” PPC Adwords campaign tool that is more machete than surgeon’s scalpel … and if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I would never have believed how powerful it is.

You would almost swear it was telepathic. Really.

You give it the just barest amount of a certain kind of information, and it practically writes the ads and creates keywords and everything else you need, ready to upload at the push of a button to Google, Yahoo, or MSN ad centers.

I saw the Shadow insider video, and it was a jaw-dropping paradigm shift in PPC marketing.

In just six minutes, 10 campaigns and hundreds of keywords, all very “Google Friendly,” were generated from scratch–and the amount of work the Shadow did (I SHOULD say LACK of work he did) simply left me stunned.

He really IS lazy … and he still is able to pull in six figures per month using this tool and his closely-held techniques.

If you still have a little bit of that PPC dream alive in your heart, you should check out “The Google Shadow System.”

There is no scam, and the tool is 100% for real and functional and available for a limited time for serious Adwords PPC marketers.
